To celebrate the start of the Cycling Weekly sportive series on March 16 with the Wiltshire Wildcat, we're challenging you to cover the entire short course distance of all 10 sportives!
The total to conquer is 430 miles, which is no mean feet, so be prepared to put in some hard efforts.
If you can manage to hit a third of that target (144 miles) you'll get the bronze badge for your efforts. Two thirds (287 miles) and you'll take silver, while you'll have to cover all the miles to get the prestigious gold award.
The prize for this challenge is a free entry to any of Cycling Weekly's sportive series events or Adventure X events, which will go to one lucky rider at random.
Bronze riders will get one entry, silver two and gold riders will get three names in the hat.
Want to go even harder?
You can get four entries into the hat and a special challenge badge if you really want to push yourself to the absolute limit and take on the cumulative distance of the long courses. This is a whopping 953 miles of riding in the month, so this is for the really dedicated amongst you.

Time in the saddle is all that counts
It doesn’t matter if you ride fast and hard on tough terrain or take it easy along the tow paths. All that matters is the time you spend in the saddle. We do it this way, so everyone’s got a chance, not just the super fit or talented among us.
There are a number of ways you can log rides
Cheating is bad for the soul
Cheating is pretty easy to spot, so if the temptation of skulduggery flashes before you, be strong and resist. You stand to gain nothing apart from the opprobrium of your fair-minded cycling companions. Besides we all know cheating is bad for the soul.
Be safe and courteous
We know we don’t need to say it but we’re going to say it anyway: ride safely and courteously when out and about and do your best to keep it nice and friendly on the discussion board.
